'The annual CCI-USA International Workshop', says the flyer announcing the CCI-USA international meeting 2012 , 'enables co-counselors from around the United States and the world, to come together and share energy, connection, and enthusiasm.' And it follows: 'We gather to build and practice our skills in co-counseling and to enjoy the warmth of community. The workshop provides time and space for personal reflection and sharing. It's an opportunity to check in with our inner selves and to acknowledge the strength and beauty of the CCI co-counseling communities across the United States and the world.

We celebrate our fellow co-counselors who travel from distant parts of the USA and the world to share their love of CCI co-counseling. They enrich the workshop immeasurably. You are warmly invited to join in this gathering of the dynamic, honest and growing CCI-USA co-counseling community'. And CCI World News Service asks: 'Who can refuse such an invitation?!

This 38th annual international co-counseling workshop in the USA starts April 17th and ends April 22nd 2012. Part-time attendance is available to persons who have previously attended a full workshop. The gathering is open, so informs the flyer, to all who have completed basic co-counseling training. Though they don't say so specifically, they need to have completed a CCI training. We know by CCI-USA practice, that their preference is in that direction. If otherwise, consult also the registrar.

The 38th meeting will be at the Holy Family Retreat Center, West Hartford CT. Local co-counselors can provide travel assistance from New York, Hartford, Boston, Providence and New Haven airports and train stations. Children are encouraged to attend (special prices). They, their families, and the CCI community all benefit from their presence. Children age 6 and older will be offered a program that includes age-appropriate education in (CCI) co-counseling skills and practice, play time and field trips. The price to attend is $ 520 for adult double occupancy, discount $ 25 for adults registrars not later than 2-1-12. Full payment not later than 3-31-12. Financial assistance to attend is available; Include request before 2-15-12 on your registration form (consult also www.CCI-USA). Fees include workshop activities, meals, accommodations, bedding and towels.
